CANDLE CARE

• Burn within sight; Never leave a burning candle unattended. Ensure the candle is extinguished before leaving the room or going to sleep.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets. Candles can pose a fire hazard and may cause injury if touched or knocked over.
• Place candles on a heat-resistant surface. Avoid placing candles near flammable materials or in drafty areas.
• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning, dripping, or flaring.
• Allow the candle to cool before handling. Wax and containers can become hot during burning. Wait until the candle has cooled completely before moving it.
• Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This helps prevent overheating of the container and ensures the candle lasts longer.
• Keep the wax pool free of debris. Remove any wick trimmings, matches, or other debris from the wax to prevent flaring and sooting.
• Stop burning the candle when only 1/2 inch of wax remains. Burning the candle closer to the bottom of the container can cause overheating and may damage the container.
• Do not touch or move a burning candle. The container and wax can be hot and may cause burns if touched.
• Avoid placing candles in a windy area. Drafts can cause uneven burning and may lead to accidents.
